Dr. Jeremy Monroe, D.O.
Dr. Monroe attended medical school at Touro University in Las Vegas, Nevada. From there he completed an emergency medicine residency in Peoria, Illinois at the University of Illinois. Dr. Monroe has worked in clinical medicine for 13 years and is currently our medical director at Slate Medical Aesthetics. Performing cosmetic procedures while continuing to learn the latest in aesthetics is one of the many things he enjoys. You will often find him with a medical reference book and a Redbull. He and his wife, Emily, have four daughters and have lived in Pocatello since 2015.
Mckenzie Decker, DNP-FNP, RN.
McKenzie received her Bachelor of Health Science, Bachelor of Nursing, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice degrees at Idaho State University. She has been a nurse for five years and a Nurse Practitioner for almost two years in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care settings. McKenzie became an aesthetic nurse injector two years ago where she strives to deliver results clients want, in the most natural and conservative manner. She strongly believes that with injectables and fillers you can gently improve your appearance without anyone being able to put a finger on what was done. McKenzie was born and raised in Pocatello. She currently resides in Inkom with her husband, Mike, and their two kids. Together, they enjoy spending time in the great Idaho mountains.
Jasmin Flynn, Medical Esthetician and Certified
Laser Technician. .
Jasmin attended esthetics school at Oliver Finley in
Boise Idaho where she obtained her license in 2008.
Jasmin is very passionate about all things skin care
and loves result driven treatments including IPL,
resurfx, microneedling and chemical peels. When
she is not in the spa you can find Jasmin with her
daughter, fiancé, and 2 dogs probably eating pizza
and watching movies.
Sheena Blocker, MSN, FNP-C, Aesthetic Nurse
Injector.
Sheena received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing
from Idaho State University and worked as a cardiac
nurse for two years and a perioperative nurse for
eight years. Knowing the value of education, she
returned to school for a Master of Science degree as
a Family Nurse Practitioner with aesthetics as her
ultimate goal. She received aesthetic injector
certification in Dallas, Texas and continues to attend
multiple training events, seminars, and mentoring
sessions in aesthetics and dermatology. Sheena
loves the artistry and precision of aesthetics. Her
goal is not to alter or augment someone’s face, but
rather work with a client’s unique features to restore
and enhance a natural, more refined, and precise
look. Always on the go, Sheena balances her time
between various medical settings while being mom
to her three kids. Together with her husband, they
enjoy traveling, being outside, good music and
spending time with family.
Shelbi James, RN, Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Shelbi graduated from Idaho State University in
2013 with her Associate of Science with a major in
Nursing. In 2016 she graduated from Boise State
University with her Bachelor in Science majoring in
Nursing. She has worked in various hospital settings
as a Registered Nurse for eight years. When it
comes to aesthetics, Shelbi strives to help people
restore their confidence by helping improve their
appearance with natural results. Shelbi has lived in
Southeast Idaho for most of her life. She has been
married for 13 years and has two boys.
